Financial Aid

Caycee Clark
Director of Financial Aid
Caycee was born in Canoga Park, CA and raised in Simi Valley, CA. Although she doesn’t personally have military experience, she notes that she comes “from a long line of proud Marines.” She moved to Seattle in 1994 and achieved her Bachelors’ (B.A.) degree from the University of Washington in the field of Speech Communication.
Caycee’s experience comes with 15 years of working in the field of Student Financial Aid. She’s always worked at career colleges and has enjoyed the more guided focus and customer service that they bring to students, which are things that she thinks are often lacking from more traditional college environments. “I really enjoy the relationships that we get to build with students in this type of environment,” she mentions. Caycee also worked at the Art Institute of Seattle for 12 years and at Everest College Renton for nearly three years before arriving at DIT in June 2015. She volunteers as a phone worker and supervisor at the King County Crisis Clinic (Crisis Line/Teen Link programs), which she has done for more than 15 years.
