Housing Assistance

One of the most common questions we hear from prospective students is “Where am I going to live?” The Admissions team at DIT is here to help you find affordable housing that best meets your needs.

  • You don’t need to secure housing before enrolling
  • We have connections with trusted landlords who have rooms for rent
  • We can connect you with your classmates who are also interested in having a roommate
  • You can also potentially get Financial Aid to help pay for the cost of housing

The Financial Aid team at DIT is here to help you determine a budget for your housing and living expenses, and then to explore the most ideal funding options for you. Our eligible Veteran students will find that Seattle has some of the highest Basic Allowance for housing.

Some of the neighborhoods you could research include Wallingford, Ballard, Fremont, Greenlake, Greenwood, Northgate, Shoreline, Phinney Ridge, and the University District, among many others, but you will most likely find the process smoother, easier, and more affordable if you reach out to your Admissions Team. We are here to help! Let us know what questions come up!
